Ylagan, a native of San Diego, California, rewrote the Charger record books during his career at Briar Cliff. He is the Chargers' all-time rushing leader with 3,387 career yards and is the only Charger in program history to rush for 1,000 yards or more in a season. He ranks first in career rushing attempts with 756 and rushing touchdowns with 17. Ylagan holds the top two single season rushing totals in school history, recording 1,334 yards in 2017 and 1,125 yards in 2018. He rushed for 681 yards in 2016 ranking seventh in a single season. Ylagan holds the most 100 yard rushing games for a Charger with 13 including a program best six in 2017.
Ylagan holds the top two spots in rushing yards per contest in a season, averaging 121.3 yards in 2017 and 102.3 yards in 2018. He also set the single season rushing touchdown mark with eight in 2017. He is tied for second with six in 2018. He ranks third in career rushing yards per attempt with 4.5 per carry. In the 2017 season, he set the single season rushing yards per attempt average with 5.1 yards per carry. His 4.6 yards per carry in 2018 ranks fourth.
Ylagan also owns the top three single-game rushing performances in program history and is the only Charger to rush for more than 200 yards in a contest. He rushed for 265 yards against Dakota Wesleyan in 2017, 218 yards against Hastings in 2017 and 199 yards against Dordt in 2018. His 41 rushes against Hastings in 2017 ranks first in a single game, 37 against Midland in 2018 ranks tied for third, 32 against Dakota Wesleyan in 2017 ranks seventh, and 32 against Dordt in 2018 ranks eighth. Ylagan's 260 rushing attempts in 2017 ranks first in a single season, followed by 243 in 2018. His 192 rushing attempts in 2016 ranks seventh in a single season.
Ylagan was a two-time All-GPAC second team selection and graduated from Briar Cliff in 2018.
