Briar Cliff University

Lisa Kallhoff Sokolowski was a three-year letterwinner in both basketball and volleyball at Briar Cliff. She finished her career as the school's second all-time leading rebounder with 715 caroms, and still owns the Chargers' single-game rebounding record of 22 set against Morningside on February 6, 1985. She tallied the same number of rebounds again that season against SWSU. As a member of Coach Marian Pesky's volleyball program, Sokolowski earned all-Io-Kota Conference honors as a junior. She was also cited as and academic all-American.
