Sarah Russell earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2000. She was also a member of the All-Midwest Regional team in 1998. She helped the Chargers to an unprecedented four-straight national tournaments and an overall record of 120-21. She finished her career second on Briar Cliff's career assist and steal charts with 511 assists and 417 steals. In four seasons, she totaled 1,120 career points. While at Briar Cliff, Russell was involved with after school and summer programs at Woodrow Wilson Middle School. There, she coached softball, soccer and basketball. The four-year Dean's List member graduated Cum Laude in 2000.
