Bodammer dedicated 20 years to Charger athletics. Jared spent 12 years as the Director of Sports Information, coupled with four years as the Assistant Athletic Director and seven years as Associate Athletic Director, Director of Sports Media.

A graduate of 1998, Bodammer received the NAIA Clarence “Ike” Pearson award, given to the NAIA’s most outstanding Sports Media or Sports Information Director. He was also the Media and Statistics Director for the NAIA National Tournament for women’s basketball and women’s volleyball hosted in Sioux City. Bodammer is responsible for the design and implementation of the “Bolt” logo, a logo that is still used by all athletic teams.

Bodammer brought many quality-of-life enhancements to Charger Athletics, including the new website design, along with the relocation of the Briar Cliff Hall of Fame. He was also heavily involved in athletic fundraising. 

Beyond his service in athletic administration, Bodammer was at the helm of Charger women’s soccer for seven seasons. He was also the director for intermural sports on campus, along with the promoter of “Blue Mondays”. Among his co-workers, he was also the organizer of “noonball”
