Larry Sitzmann began as an official member of the scorer's table crew for the 1981-82 season. Sitzmann, who spent time around the scorer's table long before becoming an official part of the crew, took over for his good friend Captain Pete Groetken of the Sioux City Police Department. Groetken was transferred to the 3-11 p.m. shift and could no longer work the table and the rest is history. Sitzmann, was a Charter Member of the Charger Booster Association (CBA).
