The Great Plains Athletic Conference announced the 2025 men's soccer conference preseason poll in a release Thursday morning. The Chargers were tabbed 6
th with 51 total points after finishing the 2024 season with a 5-11-3 (4-5-1 GPAC) record.

The Morningside Mustangs were tabbed the favorites with 87 points and three first place votes. A Concordia and Hastings both received 84 points with Concordia receiving one first place vote and Hastings receiving five. Midland totaled 77 points and received two first place votes. Northwestern rounds off the top five with 66 total points.

Second team All-GPAC defender
Alex Johnson returns for The Cliff after starting 17 games and totaling 1,485 minutes.
Finlay Skilling returns for his senior season after appearing in 16 games and making 14 starts last season. Skilling was named Honorable Mention All-GPAC last fall.

Gabriel Hernandez Les last fall totaled nine points and scored three goals while recording three assists for the Chargers.

The Chargers open the season at home, hosting the Vikings of Grand View University on August 23 at 3:30 p.m. on Faber Field. They open GPAC play on September 20 as they host the Doane Tigers.
