Alejandro Illan of the Charger men's soccer team was named Week 1: GPAC Offensive Player of the week for his performances last week.
 
Illan, a freshman from Madrid, Spain, recorded seven points last week as the Chargers defeated McPherson and Central Christian in McPherson, Kansas.
 
Illan against the Bulldogs scored two goals in the 2-0 victory to give BCU their first win of the season. Against Central Christian, he recorded one goal and an assist in the 4-2 victory over the Tigers.
 
The Chargers will return to action tomorrow, as they host the Bellevue Bruins on Faber Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
