The Charger baseball team fell 6-16 against Embry-Riddle Tuesday afternoon in Prescott, Arizona.

Rance Bryant led the contest off with a double followed by
Diego Trujillo's infield single had runners at the corners for the Chargers early.
Nico Sall reached base on a fielder's choice and drove in Bryant for the game's first run.

Embry-Riddle would score seven unanswered runs and took a 7-1 lead heading into the fifth. Trujillo recorded a RBI single in the fifth to cut the lead to five.

In the top of the sixth,
Cade Marquardt led the inning off with a solo shot to cut the deficit to four. A two RBI single from
Cy Patterson and a RBI single from Trujillo rallied The Cliff back, as they trailed by one heading into the bottom of the sixth.

The Eagles would score nine runs in the final two innings to take the victory.

Trujillo went a perfect four-for-four from the plate and recorded two RBIs.
Cam Riemer went one-for-three and drew a walk in the contest.

The Chargers fall to 5-6 on the season and will return to action this Saturday as they travel to Fayette, Missouri to take on Missouri Valley College and University of Saint Mary. Game one is slated for 10:30 a.m. followed by game two at 3:30 p.m.
