The Charger women's basketball team was ranked #20 in the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches Top 25 Preseason Poll in a release early Wednesday morning. For the third straight season, the Chargers were ranked inside the Top 25 to start the season.

BCU finished with a 30-6 record (18-4 GPAC) and finished in the final four at the NAIA National Tournament.

Conference rival Dordt opens up the season as the top-ranked team. Other GPAC teams ranked in the top 25 include Dakota Wesleyan at 9^th and Hastings at 12^th.

The Chargers open up their season on October 24 inside the Newman Flanagan Center to host Tabor College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
