SAYLER HAS RUNNER-UP PERFORMANCE

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -  Senior Isabel Sayler had a second place finish as the Briar Cliff University women's outdoor track & field team finished Day 1 of the Sioux City Relays.

In the triple jump, Sayler jumped 36 feet, 7.75 inches to place second.  That is the second longest jump in Briar Cliff history.

In the 400-meter hurdles, freshman Sophie Ruden finished fourth at 1:11.46.  That ranks fourth in school history.

In the pre-lims of the 100m hurdles, freshman Devonda Sands ran the second fastest qualifying time at 16.29.

Additional PR's came from sophomore Rylee Antonino in the 800, junior Lyndsey McGowan in the discus and Sands in the 400m hurdles.

Briar Cliff closes out the Sioux City Relays, Saturday, Apr. 13.  The meet is at crosstown rival, Morningside College.
