Chargers Start Indoor Season On Road

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Briar Cliff University women's outdoor track & field team opened the season at the SDSU Holiday Invite.

Briar Cliff had a strong outing with six PR's. Freshman Lilly Peters recorded personal best in the discus (103 feet, one inch) and shot put (33 feet, 4.75 inches).

Additional PR's came from senior Jade Mammen in the discus, freshman Ashley Quimiro-Rosales in the mile, sophomore Sophie Ruden in the 200-meter dash and junior Maria Russell in the mile.

Briar Cliff is at the Bulldog Early Bird in Seward, Neb., Dec. 14.
