SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
Briar Cliff enters Saturday's matchup looking to get back in the win column after falling to Midland 35-7 last weekend.
Through three games, the Chargers have totaled 991 yards of offense, averaging 330.3 yards per game. Briar Cliff has recorded 337 rushing yards and 734 passing yards while finding the end zone nine times.
Quarterback
Brock Saya has completed 52-of-97 passes for 734 yards and seven touchdowns through the first three games. Saya has also contributed 128 rushing yards on the season.
Chase Thomas has paced the Charger rushing attack with 128 net yards on 34 carries, while
Kymani Fleurme leads Briar Cliff's receiving corps with 193 yards on 11 catches.
Ezra Heiner has added 178 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Defensively,
Cameron Cayou leads the Chargers with 24 total tackles, followed by
Tegen Hoffman with 19.
Dayton Harrell has recorded 15 tackles, while
Jayden Botterill has added 14. Botterill also has an interception on the season.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Dakota Wesleyan enters Saturday's match-up with a 2-1 overall record and a 1-0 mark in GPAC play. The Tigers have won each of their last two games, defeating Doane 34-21 on September 5 before earning a 40-21 victory over Waldorf last Saturday.
The Tigers are averaging 379.3 yards of total offense per game, including 241.7 passing yards and 137.7 rushing yards. Dakota Wesleyan has scored 101 points through three games while averaging 33.7 points per contest

Quarterback Jed Jenson has completed 58-of-104 passes for 722 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jenson has also contributed 85 rushing yards on the season.
Caleb Kilbride has been a key target in the Tiger passing attack, recording 10 receptions for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Steven Christion has added 133 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 11 catches.
On the ground, Landon Iverson leads Dakota Wesleyan with 216 rushing yards on 50 carries and two touchdowns. Jenson has added 85 yards, while the Tigers have totaled 413 rushing yards through three games.
Defensively, Dakota Wesleyan is allowing 346.0 yards per game and 25.7 points per contest. Tayden Nave leads the Tigers with 16 tackles, while Justin Bayer
has recorded 15 tackles through the first three games.
THE LAST TIME OUT
In their September meeting of last year, the Chargers won 21-7 at Memorial Field.
The Chargers were led by Thomas who ran for 63 yards, followed by Fleurme who had five catches and 88 yards in the win.
Saya threw 16-for-31 on the day for 269 total yards.
