Cade Marquardt of the Charger baseball team has earned back-to-back GPAC Player of the week honors after his performances last week against Northwestern and Mount Marty.

Marquardt, a senior from Litchfield, Minnesota, went 12-for-17 at the plate with four doubles, a triple, two home runs, and eight RBIs. He posted a slash line of .706/.722/1.412 during the four-game span. In the final game against Mount Marty, Marquardt went five-for-five with two doubles, two home runs, and five RBIs while drawing a walk.

On the season, Marquardt ranks first in batting average in the GPAC with a .517 average and is tied for first in RBIs with 36. He ranks first in hits with 45, first in doubles with 10, and 10
th in home runs with five.

The baseball team will return to action next Saturday, as they travel to Crete, Nebraska to take on the Doane Tigers. They will host the Concordia Bulldogs on Sunday.
