SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The Chargers moved to 1-0 on the season after defeating the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees 35-23 under the lights at Memorial Field last Saturday.

Quarterback
Brock Saya earned GPAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after going 21-for-25 passing for 307 yards and throwing two touchdowns. Saya also rushed for a touchdown. Saya connected with seven different receivers.

Kymani Fleurme recorded six catches for 77 yards while
Ezra Heiner hauled in seven catches for 72 yards.
Steven Whiting hauled in three grabs for 67 yards and a score.
Ivan Funderbunk scored on a 40-yard catch and run last contest.

Chase Thomas led the team in rushing with 57 yards on 21 carries and found the end zone twice.
Â
Max Rascon Jr. led the team in tackles while also forcing a fumble and recording a sack.
Kael Forsyth finished with seven tackles and a forced fumble.
Jaden Self recorded an interception last contest.

Jacob Myers handled all kicking duties for the Chargers and went a perfect five-for-five on PAT attempts. Myers logged just two punts in the contest for an average of 39.5 yards with a long of 47 yards. He had one punt downed inside the opponents 20-yard line.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
The #3 Mustangs fell 38-34 on the road to #4 Benedictine in Kansas last time out. The Ravens scored with 12 seconds left to take the late lead.

Zack Chevalier went 26-for-40 and threw for 356 yards and tossed three touchdowns while throwing two interceptions. He also rushed for a score.

Drew Sellon led the team in receiving with seven catches for 124 yards with two touchdowns. Max Hough hauled in three catches for 70 yards and a score. Lennx Brown hauled in seven catches for 64 yards with a long of 21 yards.

Hough led the team in rushing with 104 yards on 18 carries. Jaylen Burch rushed for 72 yards on six carries and scored one rushing touchdown.

Cade Harriman led the team in tackles with 12 and recorded one pass breakup. Landry Phipps posted six tackles with 1.5 tackles-for-loss. Cale Pittenger posted two sacks in the contest.

The Mustangs took a 63-6 victory at Elwood Olsen Stadium in last season's match up.
