Briar Cliff football head coach Nathan Koziol announced the promotion of Jaiden-Aavery Stowers to Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach.

"I am so excited to promote Jaiden to our Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach," Koziol said. "Jaiden has been a student-athlete, captain and coach in our program. He develops relationships at an extremely high level and everyone trusts him. I can't wait to see him flourish in this new role."

Stowers completed his first season on the Briar Cliff coaching staff this past fall, working with the wide receivers. Under his guidance, Kymani Fleurme earned Honorable Mention All-GPAC honors after recording 45 receptions for 599 yards and two touchdowns.

A former Charger himself, Stowers played his final two collegiate seasons at Briar Cliff and served as a team captain during the 2023 season. As a senior, he totaled 28 receptions for 394 yards and three touchdowns.

Prior to Briar Cliff, Stowers spent two seasons at Berry College, competing in both football and baseball.

A native of Dacula, Georgia, Stowers is the son of Chris and Johana Stowers and has two younger siblings, Jared and Julianna. He earned his bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff and is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports management.
