th ranked Charger Women's basketball team advance to the GPAC Championship game after defeating the 13
th ranked Dakota Wesleyan Tigers 62-56.

After a close first quarter, the Chargers gained a slim advantage in the second quarter. At the midway point of the quarter, an
Adrianna Webster basket sparked a 9-2 run for the Chargers to take a 30-26 lead. A three from
Grace Flanagan followed by a jumper from
Mallie McNair gave BCU a 38-37 lead heading into the break.

In the third, the Charger offense started off slow, with the first basket coming at the 4:41 mark from a basket from
Kenna Mongan. The Chargers were able to find stops on the defensive side of the floor as the Tigers only mustered six points during the stretch.

Heading into the final quarter, the Chargers took a six-point lead after a pair of free throws from McNair. The Tigers Taliyah Hayes knocked down a three with to cut the Charger lead to 59-56. Coming out of a timeout with 41 seconds remaining, The Cliff looked to ice the game away. The Chargers got the ball in Benne's hands, and she nailed a three with 16 seconds left off an assist from McNair to ice the game.

Benne paced the team in scoring with 16 points while shooting five-for-seven from the field and knocked down a pair of threes. She led the team with three steals and recorded five steals. McNair added 15 points and grabbed four rebounds and tallied two steals.
Grace Flanagan finished with 14 points and knocked down four threes. Webster chipped in nine points and grabbed five rebounds.

The Chargers improve to 26-4, and will travel to Sioux Center, Iowa this Tuesday to take on the top ranked Dordt Defenders.
