The Charger baseball team poured in seven runs in the fourth inning to upset the 15
th ranked team Bellevue Bruins 10-7 in Bellevue, Nebraska Tuesday afternoon.
The Charger offense came alive in the top of the fourth inning, as Cam Reimer led the inning off with a double to left field.
Nico Sall drew a walk and put runners in scoring position with no outs.
Cade Marquardt capitalized with a RBI double to put the Chargers on the board. Sall would score on a wild pitch.

Damon Schmid recorded a RBI double to continue the scoring for The Cliff in the inning.
Rance Bryant recorded a two RBI single to extend the lead 5-0. RBI singles from Reimer and
Diego Trujillo capped off the scoring and BCU took a 7-0 lead.

In the top of the sixth, Bryant launched a solo home run over the centerfield wall to put BCU up 8-1. Sall would record a RBI single to increase the lead.

In the top of the eighth, Sall recorded a solo shot to put Briar Cliff up 10-3 late.

Bryant went two-for-three at the plate and led the team with three RBIs and drew two walks. Riemer went three-for-five with one RBI and scored two runs. Sall went two-for-four with two RBIs and drew a walk.

Nick Hays earned the win on the mound, tossing three innings while allowing just two hits.

The Chargers improve to 3-2 on the season, and will travel to Glendale, Arizona to take on Arizona Christian Thursday February 27. First pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m.
