The 5^th ranked Charger women's basketball team defeated the Waldorf Warriors 110-68 in Forest City, Iowa Wednesday evening. The Chargers outscored the Warriors 33-20 in the first quarter.
 
The Cliff was efficient on offense, shooting 50% from the field and 45% from beyond-the-arc. The Chargers knocked down 15 three-point attempts in the contest. Briar Cliff's defense held the Warriors to 37% shooting from the floor and forced 23 turnovers.
 
Mallie McNair led the way with 26 points and shot 10-for-17 from the field and four-for-five from long range to go with seven rebounds and three assists. McNair had 21 points in the first half, going eight-for-13 during the stretch. Brooklyn Heineman added 14 points and shot 100% from the field and recorded three assists.
 
Adrianna Webster scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds and recorded four assists. Kenna Mongan added 12 points and two steals while Mallory Leerar chipped in 11 points and went three-for-six from the floor.
 
 Briar Cliff improves to 22-3 (16-3 GPAC) and will travel to take on Mount Marty this Saturday in Yankton, South Dakota. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
