Mallie McNair of the Charger women's basketball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront Briar Cliff Athlete of the Week following a dominant two-game stretch on the road. 
 
McNair, a senior from Imperial, Nebraska, delivered back-to-back 20-point performances to help Briar Cliff remain unbeaten on the season. She opened the week with 20 points, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals at Peru State while shooting an efficient 8-for-12 from the field.
 
McNair followed with one of her strongest outings of the year at College of Saint Mary, pouring in 30 points on 12-for-18 shooting, which included knocking down a three and going 5-for-6 at the line. She added six rebounds, five assists, and three steals in the victory.
 
Across the two games, McNair totaled 50 points and shot 20-for-30 (.667) from the floor. She also sits 4^th in the conference in points per game, averaging 20.9.
