Briar Cliff University had 12 athletic programs recognized as a 2023-24 Scholar Team on NAIA Awards day.

Women's golf recorded one of the highest cumulative grade point averages in all of NAIA with a 3.84.
 
Women's volleyball had the second-highest team GPA out of all the women's volleyball programs in the NAIA with a 3.81 cumulative GPA.
 
The Women's basketball had the third-highest GPA in their respective sport with a 3.83 cumulative GPA.
 
Men's Basketball recorded the fourth highest GPA in their sport with a 3.58 GPA.
 
Football was one of just 25 football programs across the NAIA to receive a Scholar Team Award. They posted a 3.13 cumulative GPA for the academic year.
