BRIAR CLIFF HAS FOUR TOP EIGHT FINISHES

ORANGE CITY, Iowa - The field events were strong as the Briar Cliff University women's outdoor track & field team competed at the Red Raider Open.

In the shot put, senior Hope Wagner was third with a toss of 42 feet, 7.50 inches.

In the javelin, junior Morgan Jones was sixth with a toss of 106 feet, four inches. That was a PR for her by over four feet.

In the triple jump, senior Isabel Sayler was seventh with a jump of 34 feet, 8.50 inches.

In the 400-meter hurdles, freshman Sophie Ruden was eighth at 1:14.12.

Recording PR's in the discus was Jones and junior Jade Mammen.

Briar Cliff hits the road, Tuesday, Apr. 23 to compete at the Dakota Twilight. The meet is in Madison, S.D.
