SANDS IS VICTORIOUS IN HURDLES

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Freshman Devonda Sands was an individual winner as the Briar Cliff University women's outdoor track & field team closed out the Sioux City Relays.

Sands ran 15.38 to take first place in the 100-meter hurdles.

In the shot put, senior Hope Wagner was runner-up with a toss of 42 feet, 11.75 inches.

Briar Cliff will be at the Loper Invitational, Friday, Apr. 19. The meet is in Kearney, Nebraska.
