The Charger track and field team competed in day one of the GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday in Crete, Nebraska.Â
Paxon Fleming advanced to the finals in the 110 hurdles, placing eighth in the prelims with a time of 15.31 seconds.
Lexus Mosbrucker took eighth in the Javelin with her throw of 35.09 meters. Damond Anderson finished 11th in the long jump with his mark of 6.42 meters.
Dominic Archer was 11th in the 100, crossing the finish line in 11.10 seconds. Archer also competed in the long jump and finished 17th at 5.70 meters.
"Damond had a good start to the conference meet with a PR in the long jump," said assistant coach Chandler Cork. "Although he didn't make the finals, he made a run for it and got better today!"
The rest of the Charger squad will be in action tomrrow for the the GPAC Championships in Crete, Nebraska.
