Hope Wagner was the lone Charger to represent the Briar Cliff women's track and field team at the NAIA Indoor Championships Saturday.
Â
Wagner finished 12th in the women's shotput with a throw of 12.8m. She improved by .15m in from her first throw.Â
"Overall it was a really good indoor season for us, we qualified for more events than we have in the past with eight total," said head coach
Scott Barnes. "Hope had a great day finishing 12th in the country in the shotput. With her just being a sophomore, I'm really excited for her future and the upcoming outdoor season!"Â
Wagner will now look forward to the outdoor season and the Wayne State Invite on March 25 in Wayne, Nebraska.Â
