2014: Played in seven games during freshman season at Briar Cliff...rushed 19 times for 65 yards and added one reception for 23 yards.

HS: Five-time letterwinner for the Bearcats of Kearney High School (three in track, two in football)...all-conference football honors as a senior, also a state track athlete. 

Personal: Son of Greg and Lorie Koester...sports medicine major...is afraid of heights...likes to play disc golf...favorite fast food is Qdoba.
