2015: Played in all 11 games for the Cliff during senior year after switching from quarterback to tight end...had 16 catches on the season for 200 yards and two touchdowns.

2014: Started 11 games for the Chargers...became the all-time leader in passing yards during the season and now tops the list with 4,497 career passing yards...completed 158 passes on 371 attempts for 2,043 yards, the third highest yardage total in a single season...also has the school record for career passing touchdowns (33) and most completions in a career (328)...threw for 15 touchdowns and 15 interceptions...racked up 167 rushing yards on 45 attempts for 2 touchdowns.

2013: Appeared in 10 games for Briar Cliff...was named honorable mention all-conference. ...threw for 2,054 yards with 141 completions on 295 attempts...had 16 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions...rushed the ball 60 times and found the endzone twice.

2012: Played in two games as a freshman for the Chargers completing 29 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns.

HS: Two-time letterwinner in football for the Blue Jays of Liberty High School...

Personal: Son of Steve and Gina Van Egdom…Sports Management major…hobbies include golf…would like to try Olympic soccer…favorite coach he would like to play for is Nick Saban... was attracted to Briar Cliff because he felt it was an opportunity to change the culture of the program.
