Therese Molin of the Briar Cliff women's soccer team has been named the Week 1: GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player of the Week following her standout performances against William Penn and No. 18 Central Methodist.

Molin, a junior from Sodertalje, Sweden, scored in both of the Chargers' games this past week, including the game-winning goal against No. 18 Central Methodist.

Throughout the week, Molin recorded three shots, with two of her three attempts finding the back of the net. She finished the week with a 67% shots-on-goal percentage while helping the Chargers secure a pair of of wins.

The Chargers return to action on Wednesday, September 2, traveling to Lamoni, Iowa, to take on Graceland University. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
