The Briar Cliff golf teams competed at the Iowa Central Spring Invite over the weekend, with the women's team turning in a strong second-place finish while the men placed 10th.

On the women's side, Lucy Carter and Isabella McNaughton led the Chargers, each tying for third overall. McNaughton posted rounds of +9 and +7, while Carter carded a +6 in the opening round followed by a +10.

Olivia Sorlie added a top-10 performance, finishing tied for 10th after rounds of +12 and +10.

The Briar Cliff men were paced by Thomas Goetz, who finished with rounds of +1 and +5. Thavichakree Arunmala followed with a +6 in round one and +3 in round two, while Logan Collette recorded scores of +6 and +4 across the two rounds.

The Chargers return to competition April 17-18 at the Waterloo Intercollegiate in Waterloo, Iowa.
