The Briar Cliff women's basketball team returns to action after a thrilling overtime road win over Morningside, 105-99.
Mallie McNair led the charge with 33 points, shooting 13-of 29 from the floor, while also going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe. McNair also added four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block.
Brooklyn Heineman followed with 18 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double on the night.
Kinzee Hinders added a spark off the bench with 16 points, five rebounds, and a steal.
Abby Lee contributed 14 points and eight rebounds, and
Kenna Mongan chipped in 10 points and six assists.
Lee currently ranks third in the GPAC in points per game, averaging 19.1 per contest. McNair's 18.5 points per game rank fourth in the GPAC.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
The No.11 Bulldogs return to action after dropping their latest match-up to RV Hastings at home this past Saturday, 71-81.
Ayla Roth led the way for CUNE with 18 points, knocking down three from beyond the arc. She also added five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Raelyn Kelty and Juliana Jones followed with 11 points each.
Sammy Leu currently sits second in conference in total steals with 80.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cliff fell in both match-ups earlier this season. Most recently falling 77-83.
McNair led BCU with 20 points, six steals, and four rebounds.
Taylor Sodeman followed with 15 points and six rebounds. Mongan and Lee both chipped in 14.
For the Bulldogs, Roth led with 17 points, five rebounds, four steals, and three assists.
