SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
The Charger women's basketball team returns to GPAC action after dropping their latest match-up to No.11 Concordia at home 83-77.
Mallie McNair led the charge with 20 points, six steals, four rebounds, and three assists. She was followed by
Taylor Sodeman with 15 points, six rebounds, and a block.
Freshman
Abby Lee, added 14 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. She also tallied four blocks, three steals, and two assists.
Kenna Mongan also contributed 14 points on the night, along with five rebounds and four assists.
Lee currently ranks second in the GPAC in points per game, averaging 19.3 per contest. She also ranks fifth in conference in rebounds per game at 7.7. McNair's 17.9 points per game rank fifth in the GPAC, and she currently ranks first in free-throw percentage at 86.1%
SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
The Mustangs return to conference action after dropping their most recent match to RV Hastings at home, 79-59.
Lilly Vollertsen led the way for Morningside, tallying a double-double on the night with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Vollertsen shot 10-of-19 on the night while also adding four assists.
She was followed by Sam Ehlers, who also tallied a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Ehlers shot 6-of-9 from the field and a perfect 3-3 from the charity stripe.
Vollertsen currently ranks third in GPAC in points per game, averaging 19.1, and she sits first in the conference in rebounds per game at 9.1.

The Cliff fell 85-73 inside the Newman Flanagan Center earlier this season
Lee led the way with 29 points, eight rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal.
Brooklyn Heineman followed with 15 points, five rebounds, and two steals. McNair also added 14 points, four assists, and four rebounds.
Vollertsen led for the Mustangs with 37 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
