Wil Lugar of the Charger men's basketball team was named Week 11: GPAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in two Charger victories last week.
 
Lugar, a senior from Cherokee, Iowa, averaged 5.5 defensive rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks last week.
 
Against Waldorf, Lugar recorded five defensive rebounds, three steals, and recorded three blocks. He also chipped in 10 points on four-of-seven shooting.
 
Against Hastings, Lugar finished with six defensive rebounds and two steals to go with seven points.

The Chargers will return to action tomorrow night, as they take on the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
