Brooklyn Heineman of the Charger women's basketball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront Briar Cliff Athlete of the Week following a dominant two-game stretch.
 
Heineman, a sophomore from South Sioux City, Nebraska, delivered back-to-back double-digit performances to help Briar Cliff secure two conference victories. She opened the week with 16 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals in their victory over Northwestern. 
 
Heineman followed with one of her strongest outings of the year at home against Mount Marty, securing a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. She also tallied five steals in the victory.
 
Across the two games, Heineman totaled 32 points, 18 rebounds, and eight steals. She also sits second in conference in total steals with 54 on the season, and fifth in conference in assists with 73.
