The Briar Cliff women's basketball team returns to the Newman Flanagan Center after defeating Northwestern on the road this past Wednesday night, 79-70.

Mallie McNair led the way for BCU, tallying 25 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while shooting a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe.
Brooklyn Heineman followed, contributing 16 points of her own, along with six rebounds, six assists, and three steals.Â

Kenna Mongan, close behind, added 14 points and a rebound, going 4-for-8 from the floor.
Abby Lee currently ranks second in the GPAC in points per game, averaging 20.0 per contest. She also ranks fourth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 51.9 % from the floor. McNair's 19.7 points per game ranks third in GPAC. Heineman is third in the conference with total steals at 49.

SCOUTING THE LANCERS
The Lancers return to action after dropping their latest game on the road to No.9 Dakota Wesleyan 79-50.  Lacey Sprakel led the way with 13 points, two assists, one rebound, and a steal.Â
Leah Williams followed with 11 points, four rebounds, four steals, and a block on the night. Lennix Dupris also added eight points of her own, along with a steal.

Sprakel leads the GPAC in free-throw percentage, shooting 87.6%. Alexis Folkers currently sits second in GPAC in total steals at 50.Â

The Cliff took an 88-69 victory in Yankton, SD, earlier this season. Â
