The Briar Cliff women's basketball team returns to GPAC play after falling on the road to No.9 Concordia 89-70. The Chargers now sit 13-4 overall and 7-4 in conference.Â

Mallie McNair led the way for BCU, tallying 28 points, four rebounds, two steals, and an assist, while also shooting an efficient 11-for-12 from the charity stripe. Freshman
Abby Lee followed with 16 points, nine rebounds, four steals, and a block in the loss.Â

Brooklyn Heineman filled the stat sheet with six points, five rebounds, three steals, and an assist on the night.
Taylor Sodeman also contributed seven points and two rebounds.Â
Lee currently ranks second in the GPAC in points per game, averaging 20.5 per contest. She also ranks fifth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 52.6 % from the floor. McNair's 19.4 points per game ranks fourth in the GPAC. Heineman is tied for third in the conference with total steals at 46.

SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
The Red Raiders return to action after defeating the College of Saint Mary's on the road 76-58. Ashtyn Wobig led the charge with 20 points, five rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal.Â
Margo Schuiteman followed, tallying 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Emily TerWee also added 11 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in the win.

Kylie Foss leads NWC in assists with 67 total and sits top five in GPAC.Â
