The Charger cross country team were in action Saturday morning, competing in the Viking Classic in Ankeny, Iowa. The women's race was a 6k while the men's race was an 8k.
 
Maria Russell finished 10^th at the event with a mark of 25:54.42. Ashley Quimiro-Rosales finished with a mark of 28:15.01
 
For the men's Demetry Hoseth finished with a mark of 29:56.33., a new personal best. James Nagle finished with a mark of 32:42.32 while Connor Antonino finished with a 33:39.90.
 
The Cliff will return to action October 4 for the Briar Cliff Invite at the Adams Nature Preserve.
