The Charger cross country team was in action Saturday morning, competing in the Blazing Tiger Classic in Ashland, Nebraska. 

In the women's 6k, Maria Russell finished with a time of 25:04.734 and was the lone runner for the women's team.

In the men's 8k, Demetry Hoseth hit a new personal best of 28:34.72, knocking 45 seconds off his last time. Nathan MacClure also ran a personal best of 30:35.00, knocking off 28 seconds from his last time.

The Chargers return to action on November 8 for the GPAC Championships back in Ashland, Nebraska.
