The Charger cross-country teams competed at home Saturday, hosting the Briar Cliff Invite as part of Homecoming Weekend.

On the men's side, the Chargers placed seventh overall. Sebastian Lopez led Briar Cliff with a time of 29:02.0. Trevyn Ruch followed with a mark of 29:41.6, while Brad Baer finished in 29:45.8. Demetry Hoseth crossed the finish line in 30:40.6, followed by Nathan MacClure at 31:01.1 and Collin Vines at 31:29.9. Connor Antonino finished in 36:54.3, while MacKenzie Bernhardt recorded a time of 37:29.4.

In the women's race, Maria Gutierrez   led the Chargers with a time of 27:38.8. Taegen Eatmon followed with a mark of 28:45.7, while Ashley Quimiro-Rosales finished in 30:22.5.

The Chargers will return to action on October 24 at the Blazing Tiger Invite in Crete, NE.
