The Charger track and field team were in action this weekend, competing at the GPAC Championships in Hastings, Nebraska.

Lilly Peters broke the school record in the javelin, recording a best throw of 43.50 meters and taking first place in the event. Peters also hit the auto-qualifying mark for the national meet.

Tinotenda Musariri finished third in the 200m dash with a mark of 21.79.
Wilton George finished third in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.60 seconds. George also finished fourth in the 200 with a time of 21.92.

The 4x100 relay team of Musariri, George,
Jalen Cook, and
Daryl Moppins finished fifth with a time of 41.45 seconds.
