The Charger track and field team had three athletes earn All-GPAC honors in a press release Thursday morning.
Lilly Peters earned All-GPAC in the Javelin, Tinotenda Musariri in the 100m, 200m, and the 4x100 relay team, and
Wilton George in the 100m, 200m, 110m hurdles, and the 4x100 relay team.

Peters, a freshman from Hamburg, Iowa, broke the school record and took first place in the Javelin after posting a best mark of 43.50 meters. Peters also qualified for the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

George, a senior from Lafayette, Louisiana, finished third in the 110m hurdles with a mark of 14.60, fourth in the 200m, and fourth in the 100m. George has qualified for the National Meet in the 110-meter hurdle

Musariri finished third in the 200m with a mark of 21.79 and finished fifth in the 100m with a mark of 10.97.

The relay team consisted of George, Musariri,
Jalen Cook, and
Daryl Moppins and finished fifth with a mark of 41.45 seconds.

The track and field team will return to action May 9 for the Concordia Twilight Meet.
