The Charger men's basketball team placed four Chargers on the GPAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Team in a release Wednesday morning. Matthew Stilwill for the second straight year was named first-team All-GPAC at guard while Blake Sindelar was named second-team All-GPAC at forward. Jamison Helmers and Jaxson Wingert were named Honorable Mention.
 
Stilwill, a graduate student from Johnston, Iowa, averaged 20.8 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Stilwill scored in double-figures in all but just one contest he played in this season. Stilwill's best performance came against Mount Mercy where he scored 34 points and notched four steals in the 82-78 overtime win.
 
Sindelar, a junior from Howells, Nebraska, earned his second straight All-GPAC honor after averaging 13.9 points per game and 4.9 rebounds. Sindelar shot 47% from the field and 34% from three. In the early season matchup against Morningside, Sindelar scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds while going 11-for-18 from the field.
 
Helmers, a graduate student from Milford, Iowa, averaged 13.2 points per game while and shot 92% from the free throw line. He scored a season-high 34 points and went eight-for-10 from three-point land in the early season match up against Mayville State.
 
Wingert, a freshman from Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, started every contest for BCU in his first season. Wingert averaged 12 points per game and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 58% from the floor. In a win against Doane, Wingert scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds while recording a block. He went six-for-eight from the field and eight-for-nine from the charity stripe.
