The Charger men's basketball team fell to the Northwestern Red Raiders 83-65 in Orange City, Iowa Wednesday evening.

The Red Raiders began the game on a 13-4 run and led by as many as 18 in the first half. With little under five minutes remaining in the contest,
Matthew Stilwill knocked down a pair of threes followed by a layup from
Jamison Helmers to cut the Red Raider lead to 36-27.

BCU trailed by seven with 2:35 remaining the in the half following a pair of free throws from Stilwill and a three from Helmers. Briar Cliff headed into intermission trailing Northwestern 46-37.

The Chargers coming out of the break knocked down three of their first four attempts, with
Jaxson Wingert recording two buckets and
Wil Lugar knocking down a three. The Red Raiders quickly went on another run and lead by 16 midway through the half.

Stilwill and Helmers paced the Chargers with 18 points in the contest. Stilwill grabbed seven rebounds while Helmers finished with six.
Blake Sindelar finished with 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds and led the team in assists with three. Wingert finished with 10 points and went four-for-six from the field.

The Chargers conclude the season with a 14-15 (9-11 GPAC) record.
