Briar Cliff Competes At Augustana Twilight

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Briar Cliff University men's cross country team ran at the Augustana Twilight. The Chargers, who ran 4 miles, scored 885 points to finish 28th.

Iowa Western CC scored 53 points to win by two points over South Dakota State. Rounding out the top five was Nebraska (3^rd – 56 points), Augustana (4^th - 125 points) and Doane (5^th – 222 points).

For Briar Cliff, the top runner was freshman Demetry Hoseth who ran 22:32.40 to place 162nd. Rounding out the squad was freshman James Nagle (22:46.31 – 165th), senior Juan Celio (24:06.07 183rd), freshman Nathan MacClure (24:38.39 – 186th) and sophomore Connor Antonino (25:47.49 – 189th).

Briar Cliff will compete at the Sunflower Open, Saturday, Sept. 14 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
