Charger women's soccer fell behind in their season opening contest against #5 Central Methodist Saturday evening in Fayette, MO.
BCU created a chance in the opening minutes, but
Tamzin Hilton's shot was turned away by the Eagle's Madison Prebe.
The Eagles got on the board early, scoring goals in the 8
th and 11
th minute of the contest. In the closing minutes of the first half, the Cliff created another chance on a cross, but
Tia Lisy's header fell into the hands of the Eagle's goalie.
Eagles ran away with the contest in the second half, after pouring in three goals in the second half.
Lova Modig and
Manu Polachini each recorded a shot for the Chargers.
The Cliff will return home next Wednesday, as they the Columbia Cougars from the American Midwest Conference. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. on Faber Field.
