The Charger Esports team has announced the signing of Cade Mineart, a rocket league player from Tiffin, IA. Mineart is a grand master rated player in rocket league, and recently won the CCA Esports' first state championship in program history.
 
"Cade Mineart is one of our exciting recruits coming in this year. He recently won the state championship in Rocket league Division 1 in the IAHSEA! "said Head Coach Jack Moehrke. "I'm looking forward to having Cade on campus, he will be a solid addition to our new Esports title and bringing and energy we exactly want here!"
 
Mineart was a member of the Esports program and soccer team for the Clippers of Clear Creek Amana High School. He earned three varsity letters in soccer, earning Academic All-Conference his junior season. For Rocket League, Mineart was a member of the inaugural Esports team that made an appearance in the state tournament during his junior year. Mineart was named to the Honor Roll all four years of high school and helped published the school's yearbook.
 
Mineart is the son of Heather and Nathan Mineart. He has one brother. Mineart intends to major in business administration and will assist the Charger volleyball team with social media content and game day responsibilities.
