Briar Cliff head Esports coach Jack Moehrke has announced his incoming recruiting class for the team's inaugural 2022-23 season. The Chargers will field teams for the games League of Legends, Valorant and Apex Legends.

"It's going to be an exciting first year here at Briar Cliff as we get the Esports pogram rolling," said Moehrke. "Valorant and the League of Legends JV will be competing starting September 19th, and the varsity LoL team will be participating in a few LAN events this fall, as their main competition begins in the spring. We've been waiting for this moment for a while, so please welcome the new students as they come to BCU this Fall!"
