SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Senior Wilton George brought home a title as The Briar Cliff University men's outdoor track & field team closed out the Sioux City Relays. There was a total of four PR's on the day.
George ran 15.04 to win the 110-meter hurdles by half-a-second.
In the long jump, freshman Daron Jackson was third at 22 feet, 2.50 inches while sophomore Brayden Ingraham was fourth at 22 feet, one inch. Both marks are among the Top 10 in school history.
In the 3000 steeplechase, junior Juan Celio was seventh at 11:43.39.
In the discus, freshman Dante Jones was eighth with a toss of 131 feet, eight inches.
Briar Cliff will be at the Loper Invitational, Friday, Apr. 19. The meet is in Kearney, Nebraska.
