The Charger track and field team had two athletes competing in the GPAC Indoor Championships in Sioux Center, Iowa Saturday.
 
Blake Hogancamp finished eighth in the shot put with a best mark of 14.60 meters, a new personal best.
 
Jayson Rucker in the 200-meter received a disqualification during his attempt.
 
The track and field team will return to action on March 27, opening the outdoor track and field season. They will compete in the Wildcat Classic in Wayne, Nebraska.
