The RV Charger women's basketball team earned a tough 95-93 road victory against RV Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Konnor Sudmann knocked down a mid-range jumper with three seconds left on the game clock to give the Chargers the lead.

Coming out of a timeout, the Chargers dialed up an isolation play for Sudmann. Sudmann called for a screen, at the top of the key, was immediately blitzed during the play. She was able to create enough space and knock down the go-ahead jumper. Sudmann finished with 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the contest.

Mallie McNair added 15 points and buried three treys in the contest.
Rachel Langel and
Payton Slaughter chipped in 12 points and grabbed six and five rebounds respectively.
Grace Flanagan in a reserve role scored 16 points and went five-for-six from long range.
Kenna Mongan chipped in 10 points and shot four-for-seven from the field.

The Charger offense got into a groove early, shooting 52% from the field and five-for-six from three. BCU got off to a quick 9-2 run in the first, capped by a pair of free throws from Langel. The Cliff led by as many as eight midway through the quarter following a
Kennedy Benne layup.

Late in the second, a three from McNair gave Briar Cliff a 49-44 lead. Dakota Wesleyan responded with 9-0 run to take a 53-49 lead heading into the break.

In the final minute of the contest, Slaughter tied the game 90-90 after a pair of free throws. The Tigers took a brief two-point lead after a jumper from Taliyah Hayes. Sudmann tied the contest with free throws the next possession.

The Chargers improved to 16-7 (11-6 GPAC) and will return home for a contest against Doane this Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
