The Charger women's soccer team swept the weekly GPAC Player of the Week awards, with
Eyrun Vala Hardardottir earning Offensive Player of the Week honors and
Tia Lisy earning Defensive Player of the Week Honors.

Hardardottir, a freshman from Reykjavik, Iceland. has helped guide the Chargers in their five-game winning streak, recording 20 points in the stretch. She has recorded a goal in each contest. Last week against Dordt, she scored a brace in the 85
th minute to give BCU the win. In the weekend match up against College of Saint Mary, she recorded five points with one goal and three assists. Hardardottir ranks third in the GPAC in assists with eight.

Lisy, a senior from Isle of Man, anchored a backline that recorded a clean sheet against the Dordt Defenders. The Defenders went 16 straight matches while recording at least one goal in the match. Against the College of Saint Mary, Lisy recorded a goal. In the five-game stretch, the Charger defense have given up only three goals in the stretch.

The Chargers currently sit third in the conference standings with two GPAC contests left to play. The Chargers will travel to Mitchell, South Dakota to take on Dakota Wesleyan this Wednesday, before hosting senior day on October 30
th against Waldorf.
