The Charger men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the visiting Dordt Defenders on Faber Field Wednesday afternoon.
The Defenders broke the scoring tie in the 27
th minute, as Trigve Elkins scored after the Chargers turned the ball over attempting to clear it in their defending side.
In the 62
nd minute, the Defenders' Phil Appelt found the back of the net off an assist from Enzo Lira de Paula.
The Chargers created chances, recording 13 shots with five on goal. BCU also held an advantage on corner kicks 5-1.
Hugo Mariage led the team with three shots with two on target.
Mustafa Bilge Diyadin recorded two shots in the match.
The Chargers will return to action next Wednesday, as they travel to Mitchell, South Dakota to take on the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
